Preparation
Clean off any debris, loose hair or dust on the cows back and ensure the area of application is dry. Use the supplied tack cloth to remove all dust particles.
Placement
Position the heat detection patch on the backbone of the cow where the brisket of a mounting cow will make contact.
Application
Warm the heat patch to a minimum of 35°C before application. Peel the backing film of the heat patch and apply to the selected area. Ensure the arrow is pointing towards the head of the cow and all edges of the patch has been pushed down securely.
Maintenance
Once applied, check heat patches every 2-3 days to ensure patches are still in place and free of excessive soiling.
